OCALA, FL (Jan. 30, 2024) — The College of Central Florida presents “The 2024 CF Student Art Exhibition,” an annual event showcasing the talents of students from its Visual Arts and Digital Media programs. The exhibition will be on display Monday, March 25-Tuesday, April 30 at the CF Webber Gallery, 3001 S.W. College Road at the CF Ocala Campus.

The deadline is fast approaching for this year’s Art of Conservation Florida Fish Art Contest, hosted by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC). This contest is open to youths in grades kindergarten through 12th grade from across the state. The deadline to enter is Feb. 28 – start your entry today! 

OCALA, Fla. (Dec. 14, 2022) — In January, the Appleton Museum of Art, College of Central Florida, will open two new exhibitions featuring artwork from the permanent collection.

In the Upper Preview Gallery, “The Shape of Things: Op Art and Geometric Abstraction” will be on view Jan. 14-April 9, 2023. Drawn from the permanent collection, this exhibition includes vibrant and visually fun paintings and prints.

OCALA, Fla. (Oct. 27, 2022) — The College of Central Florida has received a grant to fund the design and installation of a new piece of art at one of its campus locations. All artists are welcome to submit proposals for consideration.
