Google raises price of YouTube TV, blames rising cost of content

YouTube has announced that it’s raising the price of its YouTube TV subscription to $72.99 per month. The new monthly price is an $8 increase from the current $64.99 monthly fee. (TechCrunch)

YouTube last increased the price of its live TV streaming service from $49.99 to $64.99 in 2020 after launching in 2017 with a monthly subscription price of $35. (THR)

Google will also lower the price of an add-on to access higher-resolution 4K streams from $20 per month to $10 per month, according to an email. (CNBC)
