CF hosts free personal finance, economics seminars

OCALA, Fla. (Sept. 15, 2022) — The College of Central Florida is hosting two free seminars to help college students, the community and local businesses learn more about personal finance and business economics.

On Tuesday, Nov. 1, a panel of local experts will lead a personal finance seminar. Carrie Drake, CAMPUS USA service center manager, will present “Understanding Credit and Credit Scores.” Marc Stalvey, Edward Jones financial advisor, will present “Foundations of Investing.” Jeromy Williams, owner of Chick-fil-A Ocala, will present “The Basics of Financial Responsibility.”

On Thursday, Nov. 3, Sean Snaith, Ph.D., will present “Perspectives on Sustainability and Adaptability of Business in the Post COVID-19 Era.” Snaith is the director of the University of Central Florida Institute for Economic Forecasting and a nationally recognized economist in the field of business and economic forecasting.
